B.Com, Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, Registered Company Auditor, Associate of Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Annette has run a successful Chartered Accountant’s practice since 1996 on the Gold Coast.  She was one of the original founders of Australia's largest bookkeeping franchise; First Class Accounts franchise system as well as establishing and having a controlling interest in 3 other franchised systems.  In 2006, Annette's achievements and attention to detail was recognised when she featured on the list of the BRW’s Top 50 Business Women of the Year.

 

Annette has a long history in the financial field, and has previously worked as an auditor in London for 6 years, as well as an accountant (with what is now Price Waterhouse Coopers in Brisbane) for 2 years, and BDO Kendalls for 5 years.

 

Annette has dedicated  the last 5 years assisting the SME market to develop strategies and reporting systems focused on wealth building.  She has a broad range of experience in providing business, financing, auditing, accounting and taxation services to growing businesses. 
Gae Paino
DIRECTOR

As a founding member of Australia's largest bookkeeping franchise, Gae brings a wealth of experience with her to Accounting Solutions For Business. Originally from Melbourne, Gae's love of all things mathematical saw her take the natural progression into the financial world.

She started out bookkeeping and then moved into a senior training position with the A.N.Z. bank for several years. From there Gae moved on to work for a group of leading financial people where she stayed until the lure of small business caught up with her. Gae opened her first small business, a large retail craft and gift shop, which in a short time she expanded to include a wholesale arm that went Australia wide.

After 5 years Gae sold both businesses, and with her husband and two children, moved to Queensland where they opened a large wholesaling and importing business. Gae has extensive experience in purchasing, both local and overseas on the internet, as well as experience in small business debt collection and office administration.

An expert in both MYOB and QuickBooks, Gae will be able to explain your business accounts to you in everyday language keep your finances up to date quickly and efficiently and help you interpret your accounts so you can build a successful business. Gae has a natural love of mixing with and meeting people and is easy to communicate with on any level. Her organisational skills and love of life allow her to achieve as much as possible in each and every day.
