The Australasian Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons (ASAPS)

The Australasian Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons (ASAPS) has been one of the world’s leading organisations in cosmetic surgery education and research. All members are Specialist Plastic Surgeons and Fellows of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (FRACS) specialising in surgery of the face, breast and body.

Over the last few months, ASAPS has been busy advocating on behalf of patients to improve safety in Cosmetic Surgery.  They are making a deliberate and concerted effort to lobby in the lead up to the Council of Australian Government’s Health Minister’s meeting that’s expected to take place in April 2019.

Cosmetic Surgery is a big decision.  It is important to do your research. Know the Facts. Know you are choosing a qualified, experienced, ethical Plastic Surgeon.

Australian Skin Face Body supports patient safety advocacy.

Plastic, Reconstructive and Cosmetic Surgeon, Mr Ian Holten is a member of ASAPs.
