Mr Rafael Acosta-Rojas is a fully trained Plastic & Reconstructive surgeon / Hand & Microsurgery.

He is also a fully trained Orthopaedic surgeon practicing at the Navy Medical Center in Lima Peru. He continued his training in  Hand & Microsurgery at the Klienert Inst. Louisville Kentucky USA, followed with a fellowship in Pediatric Orthopedics at the Du Pont Institute, Wilmington Delaware. His Plastic Surgery training was undertaken at the Canniesburn Plastic Surgery Unit in Glasgow Scotland.

He moved to Australia in 2009 after serving as Chief of the Reconstructive & Microsurgery Unit and Chief of the Plastic Surgery training program at the Uppsala University Hospital in Sweden. He was also Consultor to the Colorectal Unit at Ersta Hopsital in Stockholm Sweden.

Mr Acosta-Rojas practices in Australia as a Plastic Surgeon, with the sub-specialty of Hand & Microsurgery.
