Patient Migraine Case Study
Our patient is a 67 year old woman who has suffered from debilitating migraines for years. She has tried oral medication and visited many doctors including neurologists but still experienced migraines several times a week.
Initially we used injectables to help our patient, however in her case, this proved only to be a temporary solution.
Recently, Plastic & Reconstructive Surgeon, Mr Ian Holten, undertook a 20 minute procedure under local anesthetic at the rooms of Australian Skin Face Body which has changed our patients life.
Minor surgery was undertaken to free the nerve as it comes out of the neck muscles – muscles were squeezing the nerve causing the migraines.
The patient is now migraine free for the first time in her life.
