Australian Skin Face Body brings together plastic and reconstructive surgery, skin cancer care, and skin and laser medicine under one roof. Founded by specialist plastic surgeon Mr Ian Holten, our team of surgeons, GPs, nurse practitioners and dermal clinicians work together across our Geelong and Ballarat clinics, so care doesn't stop at a single specialty.
Meet our founder, Mr Ian Holten

Mr Holten graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery from the University of Melbourne in 1985, and became a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in 1997. He is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the British Association of Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons, and the Australasian Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons.
With over 30 years of experience as a plastic and cosmetic surgeon, Mr Holten offers a range of facial procedures, including blepharoplasty — eyelid surgery to improve the appearance of the upper and/or lower lids — and otoplasty, ear surgery. His practice also includes breast augmentation, reduction and reconstruction, abdominoplasty and body lifts.
Alongside his surgical work, Mr Holten offers non-surgical options for skin rejuvenation, and founded Australian Skin Face Body Skin & Laser Clinics to bring surgical and non-surgical treatments together under one roof. He works closely with the experienced dermal team on patients' aesthetic treatment plans, and can provide consultations on reducing the appearance of expression lines.
Consultations for hyperhidrosis (excessive sweating), migraines and TMJ (teeth grinding) are also available, and a Medicare rebate may be claimable for these treatments. A referral from your GP is required to see Mr Holten.
Mr Holten has a particular interest in skin cancer detection, diagnosis and treatment, and provides training for General Practitioners throughout Victoria in this area. He has also dedicated his time and skills to visiting developing countries, providing plastic and reconstructive surgery in underdeveloped communities.

Dr Paul Davey

Dr Paul Davey is an experienced general practitioner who has worked in the Geelong region for over 30 years. With an interest in skin cancer, Dr Davey is trained in the detection and diagnosis of skin cancer and performs comprehensive skin cancer and mole checks at our Geelong rooms. He also performs minor surgical treatments for benign lesions and skin cancers in our fully equipped procedure rooms.
Dr Tudor Jones

Dr Jones came to Australia from the UK in 1984, where he commenced working in country Victoria before settling in Geelong. He conducts skin cancer checks from our Geelong rooms.
Dr Fatmira Pojani

Dr Fatmira Pojani, known as Dr Mira, began her medical journey as a nurse in her home country of Albania in 1983. Her passion for healthcare led her to further her education, returning to university to study medicine and graduating in 1990. She later obtained a postgraduate qualification in respiratory medicine in Budapest and worked as a Specialist Respiratory Physician in Albania. In 1998, Dr Mira and her husband emigrated to Australia, where she gained experience working in several hospitals across Melbourne before transitioning into General Practice. Over the years, she has developed a particular interest in skin cancer detection and diagnosis. Dr Mira is accepting skin check appointments at our Geelong clinic.
Dr Javed Ahmad

Dr Gareth Grainger

Mr Milan Djeric

Mr Djeric is an Australian-trained general surgeon who obtained his medical degree through the University of Tasmania. He undertook accredited general surgical training at Royal Melbourne Hospital, Royal Hobart Hospital and Launceston General Hospital, and has been a general surgeon in Hobart since 1997. Mr Djeric conducts skin cancer and mole checks from our Ballarat rooms.
Karen Keogh

Nurse Practitioner Karen has worked as an aesthetic nurse injector for over 26 years. She has a Masters in Nursing and is involved in the aesthetics training and education of other health professionals, as well as an ongoing mentorship program to support the development of others. Karen sees patients at our Geelong clinic.
Lara Bain

Nurse Practitioner Lara Bain has a broad professional background as a registered nurse for nearly 20 years, focusing on aesthetics since 2006. She completed her Masters degree and is an endorsed Cosmetic Nurse Practitioner, with experience collaborating with other healthcare professionals in the field of aesthetic medicine. Lara provides consultations on reducing the appearance of expression lines, and also performs thread lifts, at both our Geelong and Ballarat clinics.
Natalie Lambden

Natalie Lambden is a Nurse Practitioner with a Master of Nursing – skin cancer medicine and surgery. With over 13 years' experience working alongside Mr Ian Holten, Natalie has gained knowledge and experience in skin cancer checks, diagnosis and treatment, including training and mentoring from Mr Holten in diagnosis and surgical skill. Natalie is based at our Geelong clinic and also sees patients at other ASFB locations from time to time. You can see Natalie for your skin cancer and mole check.

Fiona's passion is skin health. Fiona Priddle is a dermal clinician at our Skin & Laser Clinic in Geelong.
Vicki Clearihan
With many years' experience in Skin & Laser Clinics, including owning her own clinic in Queensland, Vicki brings extensive knowledge of skin health, including dermal therapies for problematic skin and skin rejuvenation treatments, to our Geelong clinic.
Dianne Jarvis
Dianne brings over 20 years of experience in healthcare, patient relations and dermal science. She holds a Graduate Diploma in Dermal Science and is an accredited Laser Safety Officer, and is committed to helping patients build effective at-home skincare routines that support their in-clinic treatments, at our Geelong clinic.
Hayley Douglas
With over 20 years' experience in the beauty and dermal therapy industry, Hayley holds an Associate Diploma of Beauty Therapy and continues her professional development to stay current with the Skin & Laser industry. Hayley is qualified in the laser treatments offered at our clinics, and is also trained in RATIONALE skin therapies. Hayley is part of our Ballarat dermal team.
Tayla Marshall
Tayla Marshall is a Dermal Clinician practising at our Ballarat Skin & Laser Clinic. She has valuable insight into all aspects of dermal therapy, and has been in the industry for over 10 years. Tayla can assist with treatments for problematic skin conditions such as acne or rosacea, and provides a range of skin rejuvenation treatments.
Stephanie Nunn
With nearly 20 years of experience in the beauty industry in Ballarat, Stephanie brings a wealth of knowledge to our team. For 14 of those years, Steph owned and operated her own salon, building a loyal client base and refining her skills across all areas of beauty therapy. Stephanie holds a Diploma in Beauty Therapy and is part of our Ballarat dermal team.
Jennifer Grant
Operations Manager
Jennifer is our Operations Manager. Based in Geelong, Jennifer travels regularly to all ASFB locations. With over 25 years' experience in the medical industry, her focus is on customer service delivery across the practice. Jennifer enjoys building rapport and strong relationships with patients and the ASFB team, and is dedicated to providing patients with a comfortable experience at our clinics throughout regional Victoria.
