About the Treatment
CoolPeel CO2 laser delivers the benefits associated with traditional CO2 resurfacing, without the downtime typically associated with it. By targeting the superficial layer of skin tissue, the treatment removes damaged skin to reveal the healthier skin beneath. It's suitable for most skin types and can be used on the face, neck, décolletage and hands.
The treatment uses a CO2 laser system (the SmartXide Tetra) that delivers high energy in extremely short pulses, aiming to achieve superficial skin resurfacing results without the prolonged heat associated with traditional CO2 treatment.
A full-face treatment typically takes up to 30 minutes.

For most people, treatment involves minimal discomfort. You may notice redness afterward, similar to a mild sunburn, which generally settles within a day or two. Skin can feel tighter and slightly rough as it heals, so keeping it hydrated during this time is important.

We generally recommend a course of three treatments, spaced one month apart, though noticeable results are often reported after just one session. Your practitioner can recommend a plan suited to your skin and goals.

As with any skin treatment, CoolPeel carries some risks. These can include, but are not limited to:
Redness, similar to mild sunburn, generally settling within a day or two
Temporary dryness or rough texture as skin heals
Changes in skin pigmentation, in less common cases
Skin sensitivity following treatment
