Rejuran
A polynucleotide-based treatment supporting the skin's own repair processes, administered by Mr Ian Holten or one of our nurse practitioners.
About the Treatment
Rejuran uses polynucleotides — naturally derived molecules involved in tissue repair — to support the skin's own repair and collagen production processes over time. It's delivered into the skin via a series of fine micro-injections, and works gradually rather than providing an immediate visible change.
Different formulations are available depending on the area and concern being addressed. Your practitioner will assess your skin and discuss which approach, if any, is suited to you at consultation.
-
Your practitioner will assess your skin and discuss your goals at consultation before recommending whether Rejuran is suitable for you. Treatment involves a series of fine micro-injections into the treatment area — most people describe mild discomfort, and small temporary bumps or redness at injection points are common immediately afterward.
-
Rejuran is typically recommended as a course of several sessions, spaced a few weeks apart, with visible change building gradually over the following months as the skin responds. Your practitioner will recommend a plan suited to your skin and goals at consultation.
-
As with any injection-based skin treatment, Rejuran carries some risks. These can include, but are not limited to:
Redness, swelling or bruising at injection points
Small temporary bumps under the skin
Infection, in rare cases
Asymmetry or an outcome that doesn't fully match expectations
Your practitioner will discuss the risks relevant to your specific treatment before proceeding.
-
Some redness, swelling or small bumps are expected in the days following treatment and generally settle on their own. Your practitioner will provide specific aftercare guidance relevant to your treatment.
-
As with any medical or cosmetic treatment, individual results vary. Rejuran's effects build gradually and aren't permanent — periodic maintenance treatments are generally needed to sustain results over time. Your practitioner will explain how long results are likely to last, and what an appropriate maintenance schedule looks like, before you decide whether to proceed.
Costs will be confirmed during your consultation, tailored to your treatment plan.
