GEELONG & BALLARAT

Skin Cancer

Comprehensive skin cancer care — from checks and diagnosis through to treatment — with no GP referral required.

Dedicated Care, Every Step of The Way

Skin cancer is highly treatable when detected early, which is why regular skin checks are such an important part of caring for your skin. Our team of experienced doctors provide skin cancer detection and treatment on-site at our Geelong and Ballarat clinics — meaning if something's found, treatment can often begin without long delays or being referred elsewhere.

No matter where you are in the process — booking your first check, waiting on a biopsy result, or planning treatment following a diagnosis — our team is here to guide you through it.

When to See a Doctor

Most skin cancers don't cause pain in their early stages, which is why regular checks matter more than waiting for symptoms. It's worth booking an appointment if you notice:

  • A new spot, or one that's changed in size, shape or colour

  • A spot that's itchy, tender, or bleeds without an obvious cause

  • A sore that hasn't healed within a few weeks

  • It's been more than 12 months since your last skin check

Risk factors for skin cancer include fair skin, a history of sunburn, spending a lot of time outdoors, a family history of skin cancer, and having a large number of moles.

If any of this sounds familiar, it's worth booking a check — no referral needed.
