Skin Consultation

Every treatment journey at ASFB starts with a consultation — the most important step toward a plan that's actually right for your skin.

Available at Geelong Ballarat

About the Consultation

Everyone's skin is different, and there's no single approach that suits everyone. Our team takes a holistic approach to skin health, and we consider the initial consultation the most important step toward a successful outcome and long-term satisfaction — not just picking a treatment off a list.

We take the time to build a rapport with new patients, so you feel comfortable talking through your concerns and asking as many questions as you'd like. With a wide range of lasers and equipment available across our clinics, we're able to tailor a treatment plan specifically to your skin, rather than offering a one-size-fits-all solution.

We're honest about what's within our scope. Where something falls outside dermal treatment — for example, a spot that needs assessment by one of our skin cancer doctors, or a concern better suited to one of our plastic surgeons — we'll refer you on to the right person within ASFB.

What a Consultation May Lead To

Depending on your skin and goals, your consultation may result in a single treatment recommendation, or a staged plan — sometimes referred to as treatment layering — combining more than one treatment over time to work toward your desired outcome more effectively than any single treatment alone.

Costs will be confirmed during your consultation, tailored to your treatment plan.
